C&T Design and Equipment Co., Inc. (the “Company”) understands that privacy is important to our customers. We value our relationship with our customers and are committed to protecting the confidentiality of their nonpublic personal information. This policy explains why we collect information about our customers, what we do with the information, and how we protect the privacy of our customers.
Personal Information is any information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual. Personal Information shall include but is not limited to: identifying information such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, financial information and employment-related information. We will not collect sensitive Personal Information, except to comply with Affirmative Action data requirements. Sensitive Personal Information can include but is not limited to: information pertaining to gender, disabilities, and veteran status.
The Company is in the business of designing, engineering, procurement, mobilizing and installing kitchen equipment, furniture, fixtures and other related products for use by restaurants, businesses and other foodservice operation. In order to accomplish this, it is sometimes necessary to obtain nonpublic personal information about our customers including, but not limited to: name, telephone number, address, date of birth, occupation, and income information. In addition to information obtained from our customers through applications and other forms, we may receive information from employers or consumer reporting agencies. We use your personal information to facilitate the services you request. The Company may provide information to a third part service provider directly. We have customized our Privacy Policy to adequately inform you of the use of your personal information.
The Company treats nonpublic personal information as confidential. However, we may share information we obtain about customers with our affiliates, contractors, and subcontractors. We may share information with our affiliates, contractors, subcontractors or other third parties as a normal and necessary part of conducting our business and services for our customers. This sharing of information is limited. Personal Information may be provided to a courier or freight forwarder in order to fulfill an order, which may have been requested from us. Service providers are prohibited from using Personal Information for any purpose other than to provide assistance. They are required to protect Personal Information disclosed by us and to comply with the general privacy principles described in this Privacy Policy. Other than as stated above, we do not disclose nonpublic personal information to outside parties unless the customer authorizes disclosure. The Company reserves the right to disclose information to a third party if a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena, or court order legally requires us to do so.
The Company maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect our customers’ nonpublic personal information, so as to assure our customers that their privacy is a major part of the Company’s commitment to provide the finest service possible. All reasonable steps are taken to prevent unauthorized use or disclosure of your Personal Information. Your Personal Information will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected and to comply with applicable laws, and your consent to such purpose(s) remains valid after termination of our relationship with you. We take all reasonable steps to insure that your Personal Information is accurate, up-to-date, complete, relevant and not misleading.
You may contact the Privacy Officer to access, correct, or delete your Personal Information.
