Miami Restaurant Employee Relief Fund

Times are tough. The COVID-19 pandemic has left few unaffected in its wake and the resulting restrictive measures, quarantines, and social distancing. The hospitality industry has been hit especially hard. Felix Bendersky, owner of F+B Hospitality Brokerage in Miami, Florida, decided that he needed to do something after seeing "his clients, their employees and community as a whole quickly closing down leaving many individuals suddenly with no income."

In an effort to help, Felix along with many others in the Miami area, banded together to provide grants "to full-time restaurant workers in Miami-Dade County who are dependent on hourly wages... to cover basic living expenses and provide for their families."
