1933 Lounge - Carmel, Indiana

Overview:

The 1933 Lounge – Carmel is the third location in Huse Culinary’s upscale lounge concept and marks the brand’s first venture into the Carmel, IN market. This ground-up construction project reflects a high level of design detail and operational sophistication. From initial consulting and layout design to equipment procurement and installation, C&T managed every phase of the process.

A true highlight of the project is the bar—serving as the visual and functional centerpiece of the space. Its installation required navigating complex site conditions, including working under an active scaffold system and managing extended utility runs to rooftop mechanicals due to the building’s height. Additionally, this location is the first in Huse Culinary’s portfolio to feature a DOAS (Dedicated Outdoor Air System), creating a cooler and more comfortable environment for the culinary team.

Beyond the technical achievements, this project carries a personal connection. C&T Project Manager, Ryan Pickering, previously worked as a chef for Huse Culinary. After transitioning to C&T, he helped bring Huse on board as a client and shifting them toward a new vision!
