Kincaid's Meat Market in Fishers, Indiana is the second location of the original butcher shop and gourmet food market with an over 100-year legacy. C&T provided design and consulting services to help Kincaid's integrate as much of the existing equipment as possible with the new equipment that was needed to accomplish their goal of improving the experience for both customers and employees from prep spaces to merchandising areas. C&T procured all new equipment needed for this project, and installed the pre-existing and additional commercial equipment and food storage units. The walk-in cooler occupies nearly 60% of the entire space, to take advantage of this space hog and turn it into a positive for the customer experience, glass windows were installed on the customer-facing side of the cooler's paneling so people could see their orders bring prepared.
Located on the first floor of an apartment complex, this project ran into challenges when the residential space above experienced plumbing leaks that ultimately damaged the lower retail space. C&T assessed the damage and assisted in the removal and replacement of all damaged equipment.
